Bob Hitching Leader Roma Bible Union All of us as Christians in one way or
another are motivated by various passions, visions and dreams. These
usually express themselves in the form of an enterprise or ministry
expression. I have been blessed with a life that has been given
almost unlimited opportunity of expression as God has allowed me to
see so much of the world and be involved with so many different
projects. Incredibly, I am still agitated by the things that I have
left unfinished, albeit the list is long, rather than focusing on the
wonderful blessing of being able to participate in such a rich
diversity of ministry outlets.
Now as I enter the last stage of my
life here on earth I am forced to think through how best to be a
steward of the gifts that God has given me rather than the ones I
wish he had.
It is not only an issue of gifting but
also of passion. What really do I have a passion for? The answer
comes so quickly to my mind. I desire so much to make the Gospel
available to people who I call the U-class. In short, the U-class are
the under-educated, the under-valued and the under-cultured. Really
and to be honest these are my people.
I want to write simple books for simple
people, the only book they may ever read yet filled with the
excitement of walking through life with the Son of God. I want to
preach simple messages to the least resourced of humnaity about the nobility
of our adoption by our heavenly father through the Gospel and to
share the richness of human growth to the under-cultured.
